FAQ

What makes your cornice different?

Our cornice is made from a lightweight material, specially designed for ease of use, while cultivating a modern aesthetic.

The dual shadowline design means that there is no unsightly cracking when your home inevitably experiences minor strutural movement.

It also makes installation a breeze, with less arduous finishing of edges, and cutting-in when painting the cornice.

What is your cornice made of?

Our products are made from high-density XPS, manufactured from recycled packaging polystyrene diverted from landfill. They are lightweight, and easy to handle, and once installed, is indistiguishable from plaster or paper-faced counterparts.

How are they installed?

They are installed using water-based construction adhesive, and painted with water-based or acrylic paints. Most professionals should be able to easily install them, and they are very DIY-friendly. For more detail, see our installation page

Can they be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

They are perfect for bathrooms and kitchens. They material is completely moisture-resistant and pest-resistant, and is less likely to be damaged by moisture than other materials.

Is the cornice suitable for outdoors?

We recommend indoor use of our products, as with most materials, prolonged exposure to the elements will damage the finish.

Where are they made?

Our products are manufactured locally, right here in Melbourne, using a 100% local supply chain. No imported material means fewer emissions, and greater availability.

Do you ship across Australia?

We currently only supply Victoria, and hope to expand to other parts of Australia soon.
